Tonight DH went into DD's dark room to tuck her in. She asked, "Dad, can you check to see if my earrings are still in? I can't see."
DH suggested, "Um... is there another way maybe that you could check for them?"
DD reached up and touched her earlobes, "Oh, yeah, they're still in!"
