Getting ready for church this morning, I turned on the news while putzing about the room. The Today show was on, and all the hosts standing outside were bundled up like eskimos (albeit very fashionable eskimos) and complaining about how cold it was.
I was curious - knowing our Friday weather system was probably hitting them about now, I wondered to what depths their temps had sunk to cause such complaining.
According to their temperature map, they are at 28 right now! And headed up to 37 later today.
Really!?! You guys think that's cold? We were 60 degrees colder than that on Friday morning. We think 37 is a tropical heat wave!
Whiners.

I am with you!! It was 28 below here on Friday. I don't think we have seen 37 in a month!
28 degrees??? We would be putting on shorts here if we got 28 degrees. I hear it is supposed to be 20 tomorrow so the kids and I are planning a picnic. Those Today Show people have no idea what cold is...
They're such wimps! :-) It was about that around here today, and I was out shoveling snow in my bare feet! (Well, not really...but I had my lighter jacket on!)
That's balmy. Man...they need to suck it up, huh???
lol...we were vacationing in FL during our MN cold spell and in FL the newscasters were talking about the "Arctic Blast" moving in...bringing temps in the low 60's. **Mouth agape** lol
It's all a matter of perspective!
