This song has been going through my mind non-stop for the past couple of weeks because.....
We're going on a cruise! It's our 10th anniversary, and we wanted to do something special, just the two of us. (And my answer to all those people (in non-blogger land) who have asked me if we're taking the kids... Are You NUTS!!!)
We leave in 30 days for Puerto Rico, then board a ship for Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten & St. Thomas. DH and I can hardly wait!
We've found respite for DD & DS, with their first foster parents. Those FP's are looking forward to getting to know them 5 yrs later, and to seeing how much they've changed. People are actually excited about watching my kids for a week+. Go figure!
The time can't pass quickly enough for me, but in the interim, we need to finish a book report (for DD, due the week before we leave), an art project (for DS, due the day after we get back), and a Science Fair project (for DD, due the day after we get back). Squeeze in 2 respite weekends for JJ, packing, writing a "how to" manual for the kids, etc., and the time will be very full.
But worth it.... oh, so worth it!!!

I am very jealous. We usually go on a cruise every February but we have a daughter getting married in June so no cruise this year. We went on our first 10 years ago and we wouldn't vacation any other year. You will certainly have a wonderful time..
I'm happy for you! We spent a week in FL out on one of the key's right on the Gulf this month (with kids--but still fun!) and it was so wonderful to get out of dodge for a while! I hope you have a wonderful time!
JB and I went on a cruise about 8 years ago. It was dreamy. He told everyone I was there "for business" which I am pretty sure that old perverts just figured I was his hooker. It made the vacation even more memorable. Plus they wait on you hand and foot. You will have SO much fun!
