On the lighter side....
On Saturday we were driving through a nearby town and noticed that the streets were lined with flags, big and small, and that there was a celebration in the park we passed. After a little consideration, we realized it was Flag Day, told the kids, and drove on. On the way home through the same city, we again commented on the Flag Day decorations.
Our daughter, age 11, asked us, "Why do they have flags for Flag Day?"
Ummm.....
